WiN Transport Contribution Award - Call for Nominations

As we launch WiN Transport, we are pleased to recognize a woman who has made a meaningful contribution to the radioactive and nuclear transport field. The award will be presented during the WNTI October Conference in Singapore.

Veronika Official Update

For this first recognition initiative, WiN Transport will present one Contribution Award to recognize a professional whose work has had a positive and meaningful impact on our field.

For this initial year, the nomination process will be kept simple and will focus on the nuclear industry packaging and transport community. As part of the 2027 WiN Transport work program, we plan to open the awards more broadly to the international radioactive and nuclear transport community.

Recognized contributions may include, but are not limited to, technical work, operations, safety, security, regulatory activities, leadership, mentoring, advocacy, innovation, and promotion of the field.

We kindly ask you, as a representative of your organization, to share this initiative with your colleagues and to nominate a woman, from within or outside your organization, whom you believe deserves recognition for her contributions.

The final selection will be made by the WNTI CEO, the WiN Global Expert Group Lead, and the WiN Transport Lead and Co-Lead.

The selected award recipient will receive:

  • A WiN Transport Contribution Award

  • A complimentary ticket to WNTC 2026

  • An opportunity to deliver a keynote talk

  • A £500 prize

  • Recognition in future WNTI and WiN Transport communications

We appreciate your support in launching this important initiative and in helping us recognize the women contributing to the future of radioactive and nuclear transport.
