Call for Nominations

WiN Transport Contribution Award

WiN Transport Secretariat Official Update
Woman working in the nuclear transport sector

For this first recognition initiative, WiN Transport will present one Contribution Award to recognize a professional whose work has had a positive and meaningful impact on our field.

For this initial year, the nomination process will be kept simple and will focus on the nuclear industry packaging and transport community. As part of the 2027 WiN Transport work program, we plan to open the awards more broadly to the international radioactive and nuclear transport community.

Recognized contributions may include, but are not limited to, technical work, operations, safety, security, regulatory activities, leadership, mentoring, advocacy, innovation, and promotion of the field.

"We believe that by elevating women in transport, we naturally enhance the safety, security, and efficiency of global supply chains."

We kindly ask you, as a representative of your organization, to share this initiative with your colleagues and to nominate a woman, from within or outside your organization, whom you believe deserves recognition for her contributions.

Please complete the attached nomination template and return it by September 4, 2026,
to: contact.wintransport@gmail.com

The final selection will be made by the WNTI CEO, the WiN Global Expert Group Lead, and the WiN Transport Lead and Co-Lead.

We appreciate your support in launching this important initiative and in helping us recognize the women contributing to the future of radioactive and nuclear transport.
